National Volunteer Week Ends April 25th

April 24, 2009

National Volunteer Week ends, but rest assured, volunteerism continues year-round.

Although the world changes, the Red Cross remains just as committed as when it was initially established.

American Red Cross of the National Capital Area not only relies on generous donations made by individuals and organizations, but we also depend heavily on our volunteers to help carry out the Red Cross mission – helping people.

  • If you are a former Red Cross volunteer, we thank you for your dedicated years of serving.
  • If you are current a Red Cross volunteer, we thank you for your continued gift of helping our community.
  • If you have never been a Red Cross volunteer, now is your time!

Sign-up for a volunteer orientation today! The time it takes to watch a movie is about the time we would need to share just a glimpse of who we are, what we do, and why we continue doing it. Now that’s time well spent!
