November 3, 2009

Two of the National Capital Area’s Red Crossers – Ian and Tommy – are volunteering their time to take a trip down to Texas to pick up something special – a brand new canteen!

This canteen will be a part of the fleet of essential emergency response vehicles to better and more efficiently serve our region in times of disaster. It is a vital resource for Red Cross volunteers tasked with delivering meals and other essential supplies to disaster affected areas.
